Tyree Curry, known throughout the Hempstead community as Mr. Curry, touched the lives of countless individuals. He dedicated many years to Hempstead Public Schools as an educator and administrator, inspiring and mentoring generations of students. He also served as the official photographer for the Incorporated Village of Hempstead, capturing moments and milestones that helped tell the story of the community he loved.
